New Release 1.3.3

The new release 1.3.3 is now available in the downloads section of the RetailForce website (https://www.retailforce.cloud/downloads/).

The current version includes:

  • Version BETA 2 for France – Implementation Infocert NF525
  • Version BETA 2 for Sweden

In the course of the implementation of NF525 for France, the individual country implementations were modularised with version 1.3.3. The two country modules France and Sweden are each integrated as v.0.9.0.

The versions of the individual country modules can be found in the release notes as of this version.

Release 1.3.2

In preparation for the implementation of further fiscal countries, we have extended the RetailForce document model. Existing implementations are not affected by this, the model is downward compatible.

An overview of all additions to the document model (currently version 1.1.1) can be found in the linked article in our Solution Center.

The current release of RetailForce Fiscal Middleware – version 1.3.2 – already supports the new document model v1.1.1.

The main changes and additions to Release 1.3.2 are:

  • AuditLog download – from now on the Technical Event Journal (Audit Log) can be downloaded via the RetailForce Portal.
  • Implementation Document Model 1.1.1
  • Various document types were added
  • Various business cases (Business Transaction Types) were added
  • The new version 1.3.2 is available in the download area of the RetailForce website.

All changes and enhancements of the current version can be found, as always, in the release notes.

Fiscal Middleware – new version 1.5.2

The latest version 1.5.2 of the RetailForce Fiscal Middleware is now available for download.

This release includes first beta versions of the implementation of fiscalisation in the following countries:

  • Croatia – “Act on Fiscalisation of Cash Payments” and
  • Slovenia – “Act on Fiscal Verification of Invoices – ZDavPR”

Status of country implementation

We plan to release the above mentioned countries in 2023. As soon as the releases are available, we will inform you via our Newsletter, as well as here on our website.

With the release of this version, there are currently 3 country implementations in beta status:

  • Italy (v1.5.1)
  • Croatia (v1.5.2)
  • Slovenia (v1.5.2)

Below is an overview of all fiscal countries currently covered by the RetailForce Fiscal Middleware (incl. TFCM version):

  • Denmark – “System for digital sales registration” (1.0.1)
  • Germany – “Cash Register Anti-Tampering Ordinance – KassenSichV” (1.0.2)
  • France – “Anti-VAT fraud law” – with NF525 / Infocert (1.0.4)
  • Austria – “Cash Register Security Ordinance – RKSV” (1.0.2)
  • Poland – Fiscal printer (1.0.1)
  • Romania – fiscal printer (1.0.1)
  • Sweden – “Cash Register Act” (1.0.4)
  • Spain – “TicketBAI” – independent regions of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa (1.0.2)

Spain – TicketBAI

In version 1.5.2, some improvements have been made to the implementation of the TicketBAI system.

Please note that companies in the Basque region of Gipuzoa are now required to use the TicketBAI system as of 01 Nov 2022. The use in the regions of Bizkaia and Araba is mandatory as of 01 Jan. 2023. Nov. 2022 das TicketBAI-System verpflichtend einsetzen müssen.

Due to the regional differences within the TicketBAI system, the new field “Fiscal Region” will be displayed when creating a new store/branch if Spain has been selected as the fiscal country. The corresponding region in which the store/branch is located must be entered there. For more information, see the article “Creating Organisational Structure in RetailForce Cloud“.

France – GetEventLog

With this version, the technical journal (Journal des Événements Techniques, JET) can be exported locally in the system. This can be done via a new endpoint (GetEventLog) in the “ManagementController France” area.

Furthermore, methods for the verification of the French archive have been implemented, as well as other additions.

Further changes

  • Sweden – with version 1.5.2 it is possible to reconfigure the number ranges.
  • Italy (beta) – from now on, configuration objects for Italy can be created in the RetailForce Cloud. The current implementation for Italy is based on the certified fiscal cash register systems of Fiscal EPSON (“fiscal printer”). The configuration objects are required for the connection of the “fiscal printers”.

As usual, all details on changes, additions and extensions of version 1.5.2 are available in the release notes on our website.

Fiscal Middleware – Release 1.3.1

The new version 1.3.1 of the RetailForce Fiskal Middleware is now available.

You can find the software download at: https://retailforce.cloud/downloads/.

In version 1.3.1, further stabilisation measures have been implemented. Among other things, the timeout when using an online signature creation device (HSM) in Austria was reduced to 3 seconds. If the signature web service does not respond within this time, the FiskalClient calculates an “offline signature”, compliant with the RKSV. In this case, the note “Security device failed” must be printed on the receipt. The message is, as always, returned within the FiscalResponse in the field “PrintMessage”.

In previous versions of the middleware, it happened in certain exceptional cases that the PaymentType.Cash was not resolved correctly. This bug has been fixed in the current version. We therefore recommend updating all systems in Germany to v1.3.1.

First Beta

This version 1.3.1 also includes a first beta version for Romania.

General note on updates

In general, we recommend that you always use the latest version of Fiskal Middleware and, if you are using older versions, update to the latest version Support for regular versions is discontinued after 6 months, for LTS versions after one year. LTS versions are marked as such.

Maintenance work – FinanzOnline offline

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance informs that the service “FinanzOnline” will not be available next Wednesday, 6 July 2022, in the period from 15:30 to presumably 18:30, due to maintenance work. Furthermore, there may also be disruptions between 18:30 and 19:30.

Cash register notifications (registrations, deregistrations, failure notification of the signature creation unit) occurring during this period are buffered by the RetailForce Fiscal system and forwarded to FinanzOnline as soon as the portal is available again without restrictions. We recommend that planned cash register registrations are carried out at a later date, if possible.

As of this version, some of these events are now automatically written to the technical event log (audit log) by the Fiscal Client. You can find more information on this in the linked article in our Solution Centre.
